VIKING "LV" e "HV" Design: Raymond Varraud
Conceuved an expedition kayak, Viking appears with an aggressive and attractive design, definitely unusual for boats at this size. The immersed part is characterized by a wide V shaped hull, whose deep keel allows and guarantee a good route keping and a great facility of penetration in the waves. This is made possible by the fairly voluminous sides. Itis a kayak with an excellent possibility of loading, giving the paddler confort stability and safety especially in rough sea and in very bad weather conditions. Viking gives anyway his best when fully loaded or paddled by a heavy person.
This new version of the Viking whit an inferior loading capacity offers less resistance to cross winds when not loaded. The reduction in volum has been achieved mainly in the hull thus making it a faster kayak. It is an ideal compromise between speed and stability even in rough seas. These characteristics make in the kayak for advanced middle sized paddlers who want to travel for more days in total security.
